Cakes
We ended up choosing Ana Paz for our wedding cake. We went with a 6-tier fondant cake with 5 layers of vanilla rum with raspberry filling, and one layer of guava cake.
We ended up using our invitation and florals as inspiration for our cake design. It fulfilled my mom's wish of it being a beautiful off-white cake. Here's the inspiration:

And the subsequent sketch from Ana Paz...we provided them Swarovski rhinestone trim for every other layer of cake.

Cake Cutting Set
We purchased the Lenox Jubilee Pearl Cake Cutting Set. It looked elegant and beautiful, and went nicely with the ivory backdrop behind the cake.
Toasting Flutes
I wanted the toasting flutes with the Swarovski crystals inside the stem, but alas, way too pricey. So we opted for the Lenox Jubilee Pearl ones to match our cake cutting set above. They looked great, and are a nice keepsake!
Post-Wedding Pics
We had heard that the cake was a little underwhelming when delivered, but once everything was put together, and the flowers added in, it came together nicely. Our first impression, of this tall cake with pretty florals in between, and a beautiful backdrop and lighting, was awesome. It was my mom's dream cake, which made me so happy. The cake tasted great too! The crystal cake topper was the cherry on top for me. I think it was placed a little off-center, but oh well. Still looked beautiful!

Groom's Cake
So we had fun plans for the Groom's Cake, but knowing Dhru hated fondant, I worried I would be sacrificing the taste for a cool cake. Ultimately with time constraints, we decided to serve Snickers cheesecake during the Rehearsal dinner. I wish we had enough for everyone, but it was yummy and he was really happy!
